Junior Tournament Series
2011 proves to be a banner year for Junior Golf at The Lakes! A series of stand-alone 9 hole junior tournaments will be offered to give more junior golfers the opportunity to participate! A series point system is used to reward the players who play the best in the most events!

Format: Straight tee times begin at 8:30am
Each event is 9 holes of medal play. Pairings will be made in threesomes, as size of field permits. Each event is limited to the first 48 junior golfers to pay their registration for each event.
Tee times will be posted to the home page of www.westbendlakesgolf.com at noon on the Wednesday before the event.
Rules: USGA Rules apply with exception to the following additions and local rules:
- Rule of 7 will be in effect (if the golfer has not reached the green in their first 7 shots, tee shot included, they MUST pick up their ball and place it on the front of the green. From there they will putt the ball out, starting with their 8th shot, and on). This rule will be in effect in order to keep the pace of play at a tolerable level.
- Continuous putting rule will be used for all golfers under high-school age. (The putting order will start with the player farthest from the hole putting first, and continuing until the ball is holed). High school age golfers will adhere to the normal etiquette followed on the green.
- High school age boys play from the silver tees, high school age girls play from the red tees. All players younger than high school age will tee off from the junior tees, which will be specially placed for each event.
- White stakes are played as Red Stakes
- Free Lifts from the flower beds
- NO MULIGANS
- Any question always play two balls
